I have reworked the interface of fav20 for the login and register box. Now it draws attention to the exact action needed, and also can be closed easily by clicking X or outside.
I will use all of next popup boxes the same way from now on.
For those interested, I use SqueezeBox Javascript plugin for MooTools.
Your feedback on how it looks and feels is greatly appreciated.
